Enjoy the unique splendor of 3 days in remote canyon countryRequest to Book
Utah's Red Rock Desert, or more specifically the Colorado Plateau, is home to some of the most complex terrain on the planet. It is a virtual labyrinth of arching sandstone domes, steep cliffs, and deep twisting canyons plunging into the unknown. The landscape here is so complex that this area of the lower 48 States was the last to be mapped. Today, it is still a robust haven for canyon exploration. We offer canyoneering trips and courses in the heart of canyon country in the Robbers Roost and North Wash areas of southeastern Utah, near the Dirty Devil River just north of Lake Powell. Years ago, these areas were once common hiding grounds for the likes of Butch Cassidy and his gang and today, near equal opportunities for solitude exist for those intrepid enough. There are a wide diversity of canyon trips possible in the area; from non-technical scenic romps, to multi-day technical affairs- those not for the faint of heart. Due to the remoteness of the area, all trips we offer are a minimum of three day in length. In the field we can focus on day objectives from a base camp or embark on multi-day affairs. Each private trip is custom tailored to meet the desires and ability of the group.
Our highly capable guides are trained by and follow the American Mountain Guides Association scope of practice. We offer industry leading experiences with special attention to safety and professionalism to help you leave the mountains with a new understanding of what is possible.
Whether it's a day backcountry skiing in Utah's Wasatch, a 'tough as nails' day of desert crack climbing, or a multi-week journey in Alaska, we have you covered. Each trip is custom tailored to meet your goals.
